Decide When To Move:
- Advanced planning is the best way for a successful move. The best way to ensure you are ready for your
move is to give yourself at least 30 days of advance planning. We do understand that you often may not have
the benefit of time on your side, and we can accommodate to suit your
needs. Give us a call as soon as you
know to discuss options available. The
sooner you know and let us know the better!
Plan and Organize:
- When you hire us as your mover, make an itemized list of your belongings and
what you may need. Keep in mind the more
notice you have, the easier it may be to get boxes you require. Be sure to include
your household furniture, electronic items (which should be in boxes), mirrors
(which should be in boxes), Clothing (which should be in boxes), bins &
boxes. Categorize the items and pack them accordingly. Our relocation agents will be asking for an
itemized inventory list. Make sure you
de clutter as much as possible and rid things you may not really need as they
just take up wasted space.
Garage/yard/block sales are always a sure way to rid items you may no
longer want, as well as getting a little extra cash in your pocket!
Insurance: - At
the time of any kind of transportation of goods, there is the risk of damage to
the items (as with anything else there is always risk). You can check with your
insurance company to see if they will insure your move.
